|
| MUNCIE,
Ind. -- Tim Buckley, who completed his sixth season
as Ball State University’s Head Men’s Basketball Coach, has
been reassigned to University Development effective Monday,
March 20. |
| In
addition, with the reassignment of Buckley, the contracts for
Ball State’s three full-time assistant coaches -- Steve Lynch,
Jay Bryant and Jamall Walker -- will also end Monday. |
| “This
is an extremely difficult decision,” says Ball State Athletics
Director Tom Collins. “Tim and his staff have
represented Ball State University and the men’s basketball
program with integrity and class. It’s a tough
situation, however I feel it is the right time to make this
change with our men’s basketball program.” |
| In
his six seasons, Buckley compiled an overall record of 143-139.
His teams were 89-81 in Mid-American Conference play. |
