On Terrance Chapman's ankle
"He practiced yesterday, he'll practice today, so he'll be ready to go tomorrow night (against Bowling Green). I don't know if he is full speed, but he'll play through it. That's just the kind of player he is."

On Peyton Stovall's injuries (shoulder and knee)
"He missed a couple of days of practice, but he should be ready to go."

On Bowling Green's high shooting percentage
"I think they take the best shot available to them. The run good offense and they have guys who can make shots. You keep running through those screens and you're going to get open shots. They can make open shots. We've got to do a good job of getting through screens and everybody has got to help each other. I think they've done a really good job of running their offense, but also taking advantage of the personnel they've got. Reimold is as good a shooter as we've had go through our league and Josh Almanson has obviously improved over the past couple of years as a player. He gives them that inside-outside threat. They do a good job of finding open men in their motion offense."

On Darren Yates
"I'm not so sure that (shooting) is his best attribute. I think he can make big shots. From a shooting percentage standpoint, I think he can continue to get better in that area. He can get in the gym more to take extra shots. But I think he's a better defensive player and rebounder than he gives himself credit for and, sometimes, than I think other people give him credit for."

On playing two games in 16 days and now playing four games in ten days
"I'm kind of looking forward to it, because I think I like the games more than practice. I just look at it as a challenge, because teams might think that we're beat up or whatever, so they may not come out with the same effort. I think we'll be ok."

"No, not really (more people needing to step up). We just need to take every game the way we're supposed to play, like Ball State basketball, and just play the best of our abilities. I think we should be fine."

On what the coaches had to say to the team after the Toledo game
"I think they said, just basically we were letting the refs get to us a little bit and we've got to play through the contact even if we think we are getting fouled. And we've got to finish off the game stronger. We let them come back and make some shots - we weren't really playing the best defense, so that's something we've really got to work on."

On where the team is right now
"We're definitely not where we want to be. I just think that we have to make some adjustments on defense, because we're giving up too many points. We want to be one of the better field goal percentage defenses in the league, and we're not doing that right now. That's definitely something we've got to improve."

On the filed goal percentage dropping because of shot selection and shots just not falling
"I think it's a little bit of both - shot selection and we have to get better at hitting shots we normally make that we haven't been making."

On Bowling Green
"I think a Bowling Green game is more up and down paced. It's not as physical as a Toledo game."

Anthony Kent
On playing two games in 16 days and now playing four games in ten days
"I think everybody basically just needs to do their part. ."

On his comfort level rising lately
"Yeah, I think I'm feeling more comfortable. Just with everything I just keep going and going and going and hopefully things will work out."

On getting two early fouls in a lot of games
"It has been a little tough, because foul trouble is hard because you have to come out a lot. You have to sit out a lot, but I've just been working on showing my hands and not fouling. Hopefully I can stay out of foul trouble the rest of the season."
