  • This will be the 18th meeting between Ball State and Indiana. Indiana leads the all time series 16-1. Ball State's victory came in December of 1937 when the Cardinals defeated the Hoosiers 42-38 in Ball Gym.

  • Indiana won the last meeting between the two teams 76-62 in Worthen Arena on December 31st, 2002.

  • Indiana senior guard Donald Perry was suspended from the team indefinitely in October.

  • In Ball State's first and only appearance at Conseco Fieldhouse on December 18th, 1999, the Cardinals throttled Purdue 72-52. The game was the first men's college basketball game in Conseco Fieldhouse.
